Littleton Fire Fighters Association Local 2086

International Association of Fire Fighters Local 2086 was chartered on September 15, 1971. There were 42 charter members, led by then President Larry Tracy. The City of Littleton formally recognized the association as the bargaining agent for the membership a short time later. The first contract was negotiated and signed in January of 1972. Today, Local 2086 has 129 dues paying members. Littleton Fire Fighters Local 2086 is affiliated with the Colorado A.F.L.-C.I.O., the Denver Area Labor Federation, and the Colorado Professional Fire Fighters.

The Littleton Fire Fighters Foundation was established in January 2000. The Foundation handles the charitable activity of Local 2086. The Dale Drummond Memorial Golf Tournament, the Littleton Fire Fighters Holiday Revue, and the Littleton Fire Fighters Foundation Fireman's Ball are annual fund raising events with the proceeds going towards funding a wide assortment of various charitable activities as well as our Burnout fund, which provides burnout victims with financial assistance in the event of a displacing fire in their residence.
